See, I'm smiling and wearing a "creative" cowboy hat. My studio is a paean to Dwell™ Magazine and strewn with the requisite Japanese robots and other "hipster" toys that mean I am "creative."
I wear black. I have a dog.

As you can see, I don't have time for pictures with wacky hats. I write. I edit. I do production art and still find time to design. I'm working really hard, harder than some other people. I don't have "hip" toys in my office, the toys in my office are real children's toys because I am the mother of children. Not a dog. 2 young monkeys. Just because I don’t wear black, doesn't mean I'm not creative; it just shows too much lint.

Creative? Now scheduling is creative. I have sci-fi toys in my office and I keep track of the other ranchers, several printers and the needs of our many clients. AND I'm a mother, too . . . the mother of a college student. Try that on for size: a creatively organized mother who plays with toys and still finds time to be a woman to her hard-working husband. I think I have a black cardigan somewhere. Will a beret work?
